They all are in news and they all are loved by their fans across the world. Mayweather vs Ortiz are going to fight on September 17.while Anderson Silva vs Yushin Okami fight was very interesting in UFC 134 where Silva easily beat Okami in the second round
Mayweather vs Ortiz forthcoming fight is weeks away. Nonetheless it is gaining more coverage than UFC 134 Rio coverage. Floyd Mayweather Jr has millions of fans across the world. But he is equally hated too by a large number of Manny Pacquiao fans who believe that the boxer should face Manny Pacquiao to decide once and for all as to who is the best of all boxers.
Anderson Silva beat Yushin Okami comfortably in the second round of the fight that was held in Brazil. It was a huge fight and many had thought that Okami would be doing better against one of the best fighters in the world.
Meanwhile Mayweather and Ortiz appeared in the first of Mawyeather Ortiz 24-7. The hype created around the forthcoming fight between the world number one boxer and Ortiz, another feared boxer will be tried to cash in, in the next few weeks.
The first of the Mayweather-Ortiz episode 1 was as interesting as it could be. The two were asked a number of questions by their supporters and the first was very interesting for all of us and other emerging boxers.
The question was, what keeps them motivated. First to answer this question was Ortiz who said, “you know what, this isn’t half as bad as my youth was”
Meanwhile like always Floyd Mayweather loves talking about his family and its boxing glorious past. He dwelt at length the fact that fighting is in his genes and that it is something that is natural for him. He also praise Roger saying that he was the best trainer in the boxing world. It was certainly a nameless attack against Roach who coaches Manny Pacquiao and another rising star Amir Khan, the boxer from Bolton, England.

Silva overwhelms Okami, defends title
It was as if Anderson Silva put Yushin Okami in a trance during their middleweight title fight Saturday night at UFC 134 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Silva controlled Okami in the first round, then overwhelmed him in the second en route to a TKO victory.
"I'm training hard; I'm training hard for my team," Silva said after extending his win streak to a UFC-record 14. "I came here to fight.
"I train hard for the best guys in the world. I pushed the fight."
The middleweight champion set the pace early in the first round, using his jab and kicks to keep Okami in a defensive posture.
By the middle of the round, Silva (31-4-1) began picking up the pace. He landed several right-left combinations. And when the fighters were against the cage, Silva connected with his knee and hurt his challenger.
But in the second, Silva decided to entertain. He dropped his hands in an effort to lure Okami (26-6-0) into attacking him.
The strategy worked. Okami saw Silva's open defense as a chance to deliver strikes of his own, but the champion's elusiveness made it impossible for him to be hit.
Silva avoided Okami's attack and floored him with a straight right jab. Shortly thereafter, Silva would drop Okami again with a hard right.
This time, he would not let the top-ranked middleweight off the hook. Silva delivered right hand after right hand, bloodying Okami's face.
Referee Herb Dean was forced to jump in and wave Silva off at 2:04 of the second round.
The win not only allowed Silva to defend his 185-pound belt for a UFC-best ninth time in a row, but he avenged a disqualification loss to Okami in January 2006.

Richmond’s Scott resigns
Less than two weeks from the start of the
Spiders’ football season, the University of Richmond yesterday accepted
the resignation of head coach Latrell Scott after he was arrested for driving while intoxicated, school officials said.
Offensive coordinator Wayne Lineburg will serve as interim head coach for the season, Miller said. The Spiders open at Duke a week from Saturday.
“It’s
tough,’’ Miller said in a telephone interview. “It’s obviously tougher
on Latrell. It’s a difficult situation for him, for sure.’’
An
arrest warrant for Scott said it was his second DWI offense within a
5-10 year period, according to the Henrico County courts website. Miller
told reporters he knew of the prior arrest and there was an
understanding when Scott was hired that another such arrest would not be
acceptable.
The change
comes as Scott was preparing for his second season. A former assistant
at Richmond and at Virginia and Tennessee, Scott was hired in December
2009. Then 34, Scott became one of the youngest head coaches in the
country.
UMass plays at Richmond Oct. 29.
Seastrunk to Baylor Former Oregon running back Lache Seastrunk is
transferring to Baylor. The school said Seastrunk signed a financial
aid contract and will enroll and join the football team. Seastrunk was
connected to the probe into Oregon’s use of a Texas-based prep scouting
service. The Ducks granted him his unconditional release last weekend . .
. Dayne Crist has regained his role as Notre Dame’s
starting quarterback, surviving a second knee surgery, arduous rehab,
and a strong challenge from Tommy Rees during a close competition for one of college football’s marquee positions.
Miss. QB arrested Mississippi’s quarterback competition has been settled, though the circumstances that led to coach Houston Nutt’s decision certainly aren’t what he had in mind. Nutt announced sophomore Barry Brunetti will start the season opener against BYU Sept. 3 following junior Randall Mackey’s arrest
for disorderly conduct after a fight at a downtown Oxford bar early
yesterday morning. Nutt said Mackey would be suspended for the BYU game .
. . LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson and three
teammates met with police for several hours yesterday to discuss a bar
fight in Baton Rouge that allegedly involved all four players. There
have been no arrests and no charges have been filed.
Cabbie is charged A
cab driver has been charged with manslaughter in the death of an
Alabama football player. Police in Fernandina Beach, Fla., said Rodney Young Odum was
arrested and charged with manslaughter and the sale/delivery of a
controlled substance. An autopsy found that offensive lineman Aaron Douglas died May 12 as a result of multiple drugs found in his system.
Police chief James Hurley said Douglas rode to a party in a cab driven by Odum, who either sold or gave him two prescription Methadone pills during the trip . . . Suspended Texas senior safety Christian Scott has been reinstated after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor assault charge.
Coach Mack Brown said Scott will still have to sit out the first three games, but will be allowed to practice with the scout team. Scott had been suspended from all team activities since his Aug. 8 arrest. Police said Scott assaulted a woman trying repossess his car.

5.3 quake in Trinidad, Colo., area unnerves region's residents
An unusual swarm of temblors in southern Colorado accompanied the state's strongest earthquake in more than 40 years, shaking bricks and stones loose from buildings and rattling some residents.
"The whole house shook, the bookshelves, the paintings," said Melissa Mestas, a barista at the What'a Grind Coffee House in Trinidad. "It was really scary and just this helpless feeling."
The 5.3-magnitude earthquake hit Monday shortly before midnight about 9 miles southwest of Trinidad. Throughout the night and into Tuesday morning, aftershocks — several measuring at a magnitude of 3 or above — continued to unsettle residents. No injuries were reported. Tuesday morning, the conversation at the coffee house centered on where everybody was when the earthquake hit, Mestas said. Along with the coffee house, several older historical buildings in Trinidad's downtown had minor damage.
The longtime resident said she is familiar with smaller earthquakes but has never been through one as powerful as Monday night's. "It's piqued a lot of curiosity as to what's caused this," Mestas said. Rare, not unheard of While strong earthquakes and swarms of aftershocks are rare in Colorado, they do have a history in the area, said Gavin Hayes, a seismologist at the U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center in Golden.
Southern Colorado sits over a fault in the tectonic plate, Hayes said. Over time, stress builds as the two sides of the fault rub together.
The stress is eventually released in a strong earthquake and followed by several smaller earthquakes known as an earthquake swarm.
Earthquake swarms are rare in Colorado, compared with other states, such as California, that sit on the edge of a tectonic plate. "At the moment, it just seems like the quake is consistent with the region and the historic activity in the area," Hayes said. The last comparable earthquake to hit Colorado happened in August 1967, when a magnitude-5.3 earthquake hit in the same area.
Aftershocks following Monday night's quake could continue for weeks, Hayes said.
Road, building checks
Las Animas County Sheriff Jim Casias said Tuesday afternoon that authorities and engineers were completing safety checks on buildings and roads.
The earthquake caused rock slides on Colorado 12 and several county roads. Authorities are worried that heavy rains could cause the loose rocks to wash out without warning, Casias said.
Older homes and buildings in the area are particularly susceptible to damage as aftershocks continue.
"Everybody's just frazzled," Casias said. "It's got a pretty big impact on you and your families."
Ringo's Super Trading Post in Segundo was closed Tuesday after the earthquake shook groceries off shelves and damaged several antiques, said manager Theresa James.
"It's a lot of cracks right now," James said. "The building is still sound, but it has shifted, no doubt."
Segundo is less than 5 miles from the epicenter of the earthquake.
While Colorado's quake is similar to one that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Virginia, there is nothing to indicate they were connected, Hayes said.
Students in Steve Newman's seventh-grade science class got a chance at a first-hand look at both earthquakes during their first day of school Tuesday. A student-built seismograph, nestled in a crawl space underneath a classroom at Kent Denver School in Englewood, captured the earthquakes and provided students with this year's first homework assignment — researching the Trinidad earthquake.
"The classroom is plastered with readings from the earthquakes in Haiti and Japan," Newman said. "This will be an impressive introduction to earth science and how it can strike near home."

Rare Earthquake Hits Virginia, Rattles U.S. East Coast
The 5.8 magnitude earthquake in Virginia today was a rare but important for the region, according to an expert on earthquakes.
"He was very thorough," said seismologist Zhou Hua-wei of Texas Tech University. The earthquake in Virginia around 1:51 p.m. ET nearby Mineral, Virginia, about 40 miles (64 kilometers) northwest of Richmond (map).
The earthquake shook buildings and triggered evacuations as far away as Washington, DC and New York. The earthquake had a magnitude of 2.8 replication, followed 45 minutes later.
(See: "The vibrations of the earthquake in Japan in near space.")Earthquakes often strike the U.S. East Coast and are usually less severe when they do.
Before that earthquake, for example, to include the largest earthquake in central Virginia was an earthquake of magnitude 4.8 in 1875, according to the Survey U. S. Geological Survey (USGS).
Eastern earthquakes smaller but more powerful
Earthquakes are rare in the United States because the region also has a plate boundary, a region where tectonic plates meet and grind. The boundary nearest few hundred miles in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea.
However, in California, a major fault, the line of the San Andreas Fault, which runs vertically through the most of the state, said Zhou.
(See "Zone of Mexico Earthquake in connection with the failure of California.")Plate boundaries are particularly prone to earthquakes because the movement of tectonic plates creates tensions that can lead to strong earthquakes when tension is released.
Zhou said he suspected that the earthquake in Virginia was due to the release of stress much less frequent a small reverse fault in the region.
However, earthquakes in Central and Eastern Europe of the United States usually sit in an area much wider than in the West Coast.
"An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 eastern U.S. generally can be felt as far away as 500 km [300 miles] from where he went, and sometimes causes damage as far as 40 km [25 miles]," USGS.
Far from plate boundaries, the crust largest and densest of the continent is much more like a huge block of crustal rocks full of guilt on the west coast, moving seismic waves.
"Most bedrock in the central Virginia met the continents collided to form a supercontinent between 500 and 300 million years, rising from Appalachia," the USGS said.

Break down of WM3 case
UNDATED (KAIT) - It's a trial that has be going on for almost two decades, after the bodies of three eight-year-old boys were discovered mutilated in West Memphis. To this day, the West Memphis three case still continues to draw attention from the public. A lot's happened since 1993, so here's the break down of what's happened up to this point.
It was 1993 when the bodies of three West Memphis boys Michael Moore, Stevie Branch, and Christopher Byers were found hog tied and naked in a West Memphis ditch. Police arrested Damien Echols, Jessie Misskelley, and Jason Baldwin.
The three went to trial in 1994. Misskelley was found guilty of first and second degree murder in the killings. Echols and Baldwin were found guilty of three counts of capital murder. Baldwin was sentence to life in prison without parole, and Echols sentence to death row. All three appealed their convictions, but were upheld on direct appeal.
The case was brought back in 2007, when Echols petitioned for a re-trail to test DNA evidence after technology advancements. The testing was done, which found none of the DNA evidence to match that of the three men convicted.
In 2008, information surfaced revealing that a jury member discussed information with an attorney before deliberating.
Later in 2010, Echols spoke about the last seventeen years behind bars. "I'm in a situation where people have accused me of the most vile, heinous just atrocious acts a human being can commit. I've been called every name. I've lived in hell for 17 and half years for something I didn't do," said Echols.
It was at this time the Arkansas Supreme Court called for a lower judge to determine whether the newly examined DNA evidence could potential exonerate the three men. This led to Circuit Court Judge David Laser taking over in the appeal hearings for David Burnett.
Thursday, a family member for one of the three boys who were murdered told fellow Raycom News Network Station W-M-C that a deal was reached that could lead to two of the three men convicted to be released Friday.
"They said a deal had been made or is about to be made for two of the animals that killed my son would probably be released tomorrow," said one of the victim's parents. But this information cannot be verified since Judge Laser has a gag order in place.

Gerard Depardieu mid-flight pee reduces Anderson Cooper to giggling fit
Depardieu, one of France's best-known actors, has reportedly blamed prostate problems for the midflight "jet stream" (Cooper's words), somewhere between Paris and Dublin.
"All I can say is they should thank their lucky stars it wasn't Depar-two," Anderson said before bursting into a fit of uncontrollable giggles.
And, moving the story from the the ridiculous to the sublime, one report claims that there was spillage, and that Depardieu's travelling companion, actor Edouard Baer, had blamed a mini-Evian bottle that was "too small" for Depardieu.
Meanwhile, a fellow passenger has reportedly told the Telegraph that before standing up and urinating on the cabin floor, Depardieu exclaimed: "I need to piss, I need to piss."
The Golden Globe winner had been drinking, a passenger also claimed.
Depardieu - who starred in several American films, including Green Card - was "sorry" for the episode, Baer reportedly told Europe 1 radio, the Telegraph reported.
Baer - who co-stars in Asterix: God Save Britannia, which is being filmed in Ireland - said: "Gerard Depardieu wanted to go to the lavatory... He was barred access. We were not far off taking off, so he urinated in front of everyone. I passed him a small bottle.
"He couldn't wait, so I found this solution. I had a little Evian bottle with me, only it was too small so it overflowed. He wanted to clear it up, but the hostess wouldn't let him.
"It was naturally very embarrassing and humiliating for him. He didn't do any grand gestures and shout, 'I'm going to piss.' Whatever the larger-than-life nature of my friend Gerard, no one is that crazy."
Baer blamed the incident on health problems.
"No one is flattered to have a dodgy prostate and be obliged to urinate. But the [flight attendant] panicked and said the plane must stay on the tarmac," he said. "I stopped him because he wanted to go and explain to the crew, he was sorry and he was furious, but didn't lose his temper."

Autonomy on board, said Thursday it intends to unanimously recommend that shareholders accept the offer of HP GBP25.50 ($ 42.11) per share. The companies said the offer values the range of approximately GBP7.09 million ($ 11.7 billion) on a fully diluted basis.
Autonomy also said its board "irrevocable undertakings" to accept the offer of his own company, representing a total of about 9.1% share of capital input.
"Taking into account the premium and the deployment of self-administration, who are skeptical about an against-offer," said Societe Generale analyst Richard Nguyen. "We expect a very positive response to the current price of autonomy."
At 0733 GMT, the market share of autonomy to 1085 pence to 2513 pence, giving it a market capitalization of just over GBP6.1 billion.
Although a number of other companies with the firepower to a large M and an agreement that will allow a potential supply meter HP is a possibility, analysts said that another bid was unlikely.
"As this is a friendly takeover at a premium and generous it is unlikely that antitrust cases, because of the fragmentation of the market research business to grow, we believe that a successful conclusion is likely with only a low risk of counterbidding by HP's competitors, "said Exane BNP Paribas analyst Josep Bori.
"While we see some large companies capable of a lot of this size to perform is not one of those strategic needs or for a company considered the autonomy to carry out," Morgan Stanley analysts did said.

Used cars drawing higher prices
James Baker, recently purchased a Ford Focus 2008. He says he uses the way to go and not buy anything else.
"It's cheaper, but the thing to do, as if something was done, everything they say," says Baker.
Used cars are sold quickly to a large number of local car and Bill Currie Ford in Tampa.
"It's the economy. People are very far from the rising price of new vehicle hesitated," said Bob Wilkinson, Director of vehicles at Bill Currie Ford.
According to experts at Edmunds.com automotive, sales of used vehicles, consumers are doing very well across the country. Edmunds.com said that more people buy used cars instead of buying or leasing new ones.
"Yes, sales of used cars in place. The reason is that in an economy in recession and people who want to save money," says Edmunds.com consumer advice to partner Ron Montoya.
However, Montoya warns high demand means high prices.
"It really is a seller's market, traders want more cars, more cars. Because there is a shortage of used cars, giving a little more expensive than it was years ago, and you can buy," said Montoya.
Quantity and quality are used by car dealers want and need.
"It seems we are seeing more vehicles sold. People take better care of them and prolong their life," said Wilkinson.
While the new label a car accident and high gas prices are two reasons consumers drive models to small and large, Edmunds.com said there are other things to consider.
"With a car, you must first put the money, but you know a little more than a mile. You may have maintenance to do," Montoya said.
However, car buyers, as James Baker, believes the deals on the cars - and used car dealers are not complaining.
"If we can be certified and things to do if it was new and wonderful state sales people use the place to talk," said Wilkinson.

Beautiful Furnishings Perfect For Your Home
We all have them in our home, you know, those annoying empty spaces that just take away from the overall look of any room. Like, that weird space behind your couch, or that wall in your home’s entryway. It seems that no matter what is placed in it, it just looks awkward. Well, there is a solution to filling up that space, which is with beautiful console tables. One is that decorative piece of furniture that you have always been looking for.
Console tables are extremely appealing to the eye and one would really be a nice beautiful accent in any space. The reason being is because they are crafted from a number of different eye-catching materials that can be finished in a wide variety of ways. Like, you can get ones made from all sorts of wood, like pine or oak, that have different finishes to them including espresso, cherry, distressed, and even ones that have hand painted designs on them. Other great material options include ones made from glass and metal, including steel or wrought iron, that have polished or hand rubbed finishes. You can even get ones made out of stone if you want.
Now, all of these materials and finishes yield console tables of many different styles, including ones that can be very contemporary, others that have more of a vintage feel, ones that can combine styles, and many, many others. For a great way to see all of the different options, instead of heading to the local furniture store, just flip on the family’s computer. There, you can go online and do some comparison shopping. It is a fast way to find what you want and in just a few days, your selection will be shipped right to your front door.
Along with being an ornamental filler for those awkward spaces around your house, console tables can also serve a very practical function in them as well. For example, in that entryway in your home, maybe you always needed a place to set down your keys, well, this furniture is the perfect place for you to do just that because of its table top. Or, maybe you needed a place to show off your family photos in your living room, well you can set them on one. Really, this furnishing is a great spot to set down and display different items. Plus, you can also store things in them as well since some of them come with extra shelves, drawers, and even cabinets. And, because of their practicality and beauty, you could place them anywhere throughout your house including at the end of a long hallway, in any bedroom, and even in a spacious bathroom.
So, if you have some annoying empty spaces throughout your home that need filling up, do it in a decorative way with console tables. Not only are they appealing to the eye, but they are also extremely practical and would be a nice addition to any room throughout your home.

Design Beautiful Windows For Your Home
What are Windows?
Designed to allow light and air in through solid walls, windows are a staple of any basic architecture. Most homes and businesses have windows for both practical purposes of light, as well as for aesthetic value. Windows can be made from a variety of material, including glass, plexi-glass, plastics, and more.
How and Why Do Windows Allow Light In?
Daylight needs to be both allowed and controlled, and many windows are designed to allow for customization of the amount of light that goes through. Skylights and open windows allow for the radiance of the sun to get into the room, while sills and overhangs often prevent daylight from getting into the structure.
Commercial contractors often struggle with allowing ample daylight through the window. This is because many local and national governments have established minimum energy codes that contractors must meet. The preservation of energy is important to most established nations, and it is often much more difficult – and energy deficient – to maintain temperatures in rooms with large windows that allow a lot of light in.
How Do We Use Windows for DĂ©cor?
Whether or not most homeowners realize it, windows play a pivotal role in the overall décor and atmosphere of their home. Although even standard square windows can act as a design element, many windows are of a unique design and composition. When establishing the décor for a room, the room layout and the windows are a great place from which to start. Living room windows are often great décor elements if they are designed horizontally to allow ample light and to take up plenty of design space on an otherwise empty wall. In bedrooms, many people choose to place sitting areas and furniture near windows for reading, writing, and relaxing.
Why Did We Ever Start Designing Windows?
Warmth and safety were the two main reasons why windows were established on housing designs. Allowing the sun through the windows provided warmth in the home, while the window also provided a way to watch for potential attackers. Early on, windows were nothing more than holes cut out of the structure. Eventually, people began added an early shutter system that allowed the windows to be opened or closed to allow or prohibit light from getting in.
It was not uncommon to see paper windows in most lower class homes around the world until the dawn of the 17th century. Until that time, it was mostly nobility alone who had glass windows.
How are Windows Classified?
As previously mentioned, windows come in a variety of styles and designs. These include casement windows, which are cranked to open and close them. A user turns the crank to open the window, and turns it the other way back to close the window. Most casement windows also feature locks so that, once fully closed, the window can be secured against being opened from the outside. The hinges on these types of windows are designed to allow for easy operation of the crank handle.
Gliding windows are, as their name suggests, windows that glide along a horizontal system. The ease with which these open and close make them quite popular in residences. While gliding windows are popular for their functionality, other windows are popular for their design. These include bay windows, which feature angles at the wall and ceiling to provide an additional design element.
Other popular windows include sash windows, round top windows, polygon windows, and others.
What Color Are Windows?
Although most windows come in standard neutral colors like white and beige, more and more windows are featuring a wide spectrum of colors. These windows allow homeowners and business owners to design their rooms around the décor of the window. If, for instance, a bold room is desired, the window may be painted bright red or black. These allow the designer to then create the rest of the décor of the room around the color of the window. Whether you are seeking cool colors or hot passion in your décor, the windows that will complement your designs are available.
What Design Styles Are Available for Windows?
The style of the window largely depends on the architectural design of the structure. For instance, a modern, contemporary home or business would likely feature contemporary windows with straight lines, few or no panes, and clear class. Colonial homes, likewise, would feature many-paned sash windows. And grandiose homes might include windows with remarkable embellishments and lavish designs such as stained glass or unique shapes and colors.

A Beautiful Home Is The Best Incentive To Buy
When real estate sales are slow, people start talking about buyer incentives – a little something extra to get people to buy your house. In the current market, with prices flat and sales slow, buyer incentives are getting a lot of play in the local real estate news. We’ve seen stories about sellers who are willing to throw in a big screen television, luxury cruises – even a brand new car. Before you rush out and buy a boat to sweeten the deal on the home you’re trying to sell, check with your realtor. Chances are that he’ll tell you what real estate professionals all over the country already know – the best incentive to buy is a beautiful home.
If your home has been on the market for a few weeks without attracting interest or offers, there could be any number of reasons. One of the most common is that the house just lacks sparkle – that special something that captures buyers at first glance. Adding that sparkle is neither as hard nor as expensive as you might suppose. Before you consider incentives that might attract buyers, take a hard look at your house. Here’s a five step plan for making your home its own buyer’s incentive.
1. Enlist the help of your realtor.
No one has a better grasp of what is keeping your home from selling than the professional whose job it is to sell it. Your realtor has been walking people through your house and is in the best position to hear their comments about it. Ask! Remember, your realtor’s living depends on getting the best price possible for your home. You can expect an honest appraisal of what steps you can take to increase the appeal of your home and get it on the fast track to sell.
Some questions you might ask your realtor are:
- What do people like least about our house?
- What improvements can I make in (name your price range) that will increase its appeal?
- What low cost steps can I take to make my home more appealing to buyers?
- Is our asking price reasonable for this neighborhood?
- What features have been most important to people who have bought houses from you?
2. Do a walkthrough of your property as if you were a buyer.
Look at your home through a buyer’s eyes. Pull up out front and study your home from the curb. Is the view appealing? Walk up to the house and keep your eyes moving around the property. What do you see? Stand on the front stoop or porch long enough for someone to open the door. What does that give you time to notice? Proceed through your house room by room in the same way. Look at your rooms from angles that you normally don’t use. You might be surprised at the things you notice that you’ve never seen before.
3. Do a full-scale de-clutter and cleaning.
Your first step in preparing your house to sell should be a full-scale roof to basement cleaning. Get rid of all the personal belongings that make your home “yours”. Rent a storage unit for those things you don’t want to discard – but get them out of your house. Family pictures, knick-knacks on the mantelpiece, the knitting bag tucked between the sofa and the wall – they may seem neat, tidy and homey to you. Their effect on prospective buyers, though, is far different. Even if they don’t recognize exactly WHY the home doesn’t feel like it fits them, they’ll feel it.
At the same time, take care of any repairs around the house – especially visible ones. Replace cracked or stained floors, repaint walls that show stains, fix the caulking around the bathtub. Do the same outside – repair shutters, trim trees and shrubs, give the driveway a new coat of sealer. Your aim is to make your house look as shiny and new as possible.
4. Hire a landscaper or exterior designer.
The first impression your house makes will be the most important incentive your house has to offer. It can be surprisingly inexpensive to turn your home from ho-hum to wow! Some outside improvements can even have a positive effect on the interior of your house. Here are a few of the most common low-cost improvements you can make outdoors to make your home more attractive.
- Remove high bushes and shrubs that are close to the house. They’ll make the front of your house look cleaner from the outside – and let more light into the house for brighter rooms.
- Define the borders of the yard in some way. Brick or stone borders around gardens and along walks give a neat, uniform appearance.
- Add an outdoor patio space or spruce up the existing one. Outdoor entertaining and play space is a very big draw – as long as it’s neat, attractive and useful. If your home has a patio, make sure that it’s spotless. Invest in new cushions and umbrella for the patio set and if there is a grill, make it sparkle.
- Flowering borders, hanging baskets and container gardens can all add to the attraction factor of the outdoors, but be careful not to clutter. Make sure that any flowering areas are well-maintained. Containers and baskets are especially good for this – you can always turn them or replace them if flowers and plants start looking less than fresh.
5. Invest in small home improvements that make a big difference.
Outdated kitchens and bathrooms are the two biggest detractors in the eyes of buyers. It’s not surprising, then, that improvements in the kitchen and the bathroom are the ones that are most likely to be reflected in the selling price of the house. Take the money that you’re considering using as a buyer incentive and invest it in your kitchen and bathroom.
Some of the most effective kitchen and bath improvements include:
- Fresh paint/wall treatments in either room
- New floors in either room
- New appliances in the kitchen
- Resurfacing or replacing the counters and cabinets in the kitchen
- Replacing the tub enclosure in the bathroom
- New fixtures and sink in the bathroom or kitchen
- New lighting in either room
Before you start figuring out what you can offer as an incentive to buyers, think about how that money can be used to add value to your home. The more attractive your home is, the more likely it is to sell without any additional sweeteners in the mix. Remember, a beautiful home is the best incentive to buy.

Sugarland Urges Indianapolis crying with families to pray for the fans
Sugarland night to mourn with the families of four people killed on the night Indiana State Fair last and asked his followers to pray. The event was very happy. However, strong winds caused a stadium just moments after the collapse of Sara Bareilles has completed its program and four people were killed. Timing is everything and if this had happened a few minutes earlier, could have been much worse.
Sugarland tweeted his pain and asked fans to pray for the victims' families. We contacted a representative from Sugar Land and was told that the group was devastated. "They are not in a good mood right now," was the only comment I found one of the band Sugarland. Our source also said that the stadium has been checked and they watched what happened .
'There is no information at this time, suggesting that something was broken, just an accident of mother nature, "said our source. I hope I can continue, but now only ask for prayers for the victims' families.

Michele Bachmann wins Iowa GOP poll Carnival
There are a few things to remember when considering the importance of Rep. Michele Bachmann won the Ames straw poll Saturday. You do not cast a vote is a registered voter - just a resident of Iowa more than 18 years holding a $ 30 ticket and a doll.
Or how the country people of Iowa bused from throughout the state, the band entertained with a list, gave them treats as "hot meat frozen", beat a ticket in hand as if it one, and Bachmann in the case of well-oiled campaign, who drove the bus to the polls in a golf cart.
The first entry was a snapshot of how the United States elect a president in 2011. However, the results of the carnival conservative-a-Palooza on Saturday at Iowa State University campus is limited to the use of Republicans in California.
The results of the intention to show that the campaigns have the strength of the organization to compete at the top candidates, and Bachmann are expected to increase fundraising in the short term.
The native of Iowa who suffered the week of campaigning in Iowa, won 28.5 percent of the vote, narrowly defeating Congressman Ron Paul, R-Texas, who stepped down to 27.6 percent . Former Governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota was third with 13.5 percent.
Early elections leading candidate, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, the former House of Representatives, Newt Gingrich and former U.S. ambassador to China, Jon Huntsman, on the ballot, but barely campaigned. Romney got 567 votes, while Newt Gingrich and Huntsman received only 385 and 69 votes respectively.
Perry write-ins
Governor Rick Perry, who officially began his campaign Saturday in South Carolina, was not on the ballot, but received more votes in writing (718) than the other three are not activists.
The big winner: the Republican Party of Iowa is the largest fundraiser of the year.
In California, where the Republican primary is not until June, Ames is only part of what donors are considered when deciding where to send their support.
"The activists and major donors have been here the court," California Republican Party Chairman Tom Del Beccaro said Saturday. "But what this weekend is not likely to change that in the three coming months. "
Results from Saturday to see "if you can not get to vote for you if you give them meat sandwiches and peach jam, so it's really not much of a campaign," said Harmeet Dhillon, President Republican Party of San Francisco. Bob Schuman, one of San Diego public relations consultant who chairs Americans for Rick Perry, said: "It's probably more cases of (primary next year) in New Hampshire than anything else." He was one of the many actors who have made Perry of Texas has received 718 written vote for them as symbolically defeated 593 to Romney.
The campaigns offer space for large tents across the campus, the placement of Paul upscale $ 31,000 in excess of a high-traffic subway to take.
The country star Randy Travis Bachmann is in the store where supporters were waiting over an hour to enter the survey is air-conditioned space. Friends of the family of Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania distributed the areas of biscuits, canned peach jam at home with his family.
Herman Cain, former CEO of Godfather Pizza, which offers products sliced his former employer and sang a gospel song is backed by former Iowa caucus winner Mike Huckabee.
Cain's choice, "Wait a little longer." Apt, as it was 8 percent of the vote Saturday. Marked better than play guitar McCotters Michigan Representative Thaddeus, only 35 votes on Saturday.
"Let's play a little, and hopefully not too hard," said McCotters after a jam in the long rock staple "Gloria." "And if so, pass."
Only 15 people watched. Both wore T-shirts Ron Paul.
Gifts for voters
As voters across the campus, which is below all over the world conservative. The National Rifle Association gave bright orange hats and stressed that candidates were "gun thieves." A charlatan who offers the opportunity to 32-inch flat screen television to win a trip to the Exchange Bus, sponsored by groups opposed to gay marriage and abortion.
In the afternoon, each candidate spoke on the basketball court in college, but many voters had to vote, may vote at any time before 4 hours after the vote, which was to rub a finger over the blue dye, to deter many voices.
Some were undecided.
"This vote is a heart," said Andrea Archer, a Santorum supporter and professor of nursing who lives three hours away. "Although the conduct here, I did not know where he went."
Ron Marchant Pawlenty offered praise for the barbecue, but the plant workers voted for Paul rolls. However, Mike Baker, a machine operator, to live 25 miles outside of Des Moines, Bachmann voted for "because he understands that we are at the edge of a cliff Constitution. But really, I'm here because is a good place to meet like-minded people. "
Bachmann welcome everyone. Then he said: "It was a large payment to reclaim the land, which began in Iowa is now in 50 states."
It is a fact. President George W. Ames Bush won in 1999, but it was the Rev. Pat Robertson in 1987.
"It was like match play in the NCAA tournament," said David Oman, a former finance director of the Republican Party of Iowa Now "we went to the tournament."

Orlovsky had the best performance on Saturday, completing four passes for 111 ten yards and a touchdown and two interceptions. Manning is a learning experience as you can.
"I'm sure it's good for the face of the franchise with him wherever he goes," said Orlovsky. "We talked about playing here and there but nothing too crazy. You can see how it works and how intelligent he is (by) the advice and instructions and attention to detail you have. It was a good experience. "
Attention to detail Manning showed Saturday. He was a master of matter. He hopes to soon become something more.
"Everyone always learns his work ethic," said the painter. "I'm sure he works hard and he does what he can do to come back."

Carlos Zambrano to Retire?
Two pitchers with five home runs Friday night in the majors: Yankees, CC Sabathia, who shook off a bad start and the Cubs, Carlos Zambrano, who now plans to leave the game.
Zambrano, who opened the closet and ran to the pavilion after being ejected in the fifth inning, apparently about to retire after he exploded on the mound Friday night when the Cubs lost 10-4 to the Braves.
While the Cubs are used to adjust Zambrano, the organization will probably not see it coming. They are in talks with the agent of Zambrano on Saturday to try to understand why they have threatened to withdraw after being ejected from the game to launch two fields in the Braves third baseman Chipper Jones, back-to-back home runs by Freddie Freeman and Dan Uggla.
Zambrano, who said the club staff to leave, not to file retirement papers a source told the Chicago Tribune.
The pitcher has anger issues over his career, and was placed on the short list for an indefinite period of last year, when he was sent to anger management counseling after an altercation with Derrek Lee canoe.
According to the report, the Cubs instead of Zambrano on the list for the second consecutive year.
After the game, Cubs manager Mike Quade was as confusing as his teammates upon his arrival Zambrano in the clubhouse and saw the pot is gone and his locker was empty. "I am very disappointed," he said, according to the Associated Press. "His locker is empty. He walked 24 guys ... I do not know where to go or what he does."
After ejecting the Braves bench clearing, but were warned by the main plate umpire Tim Timmons for not charging the field.
Dan Uggla hit his extended series of strikes for 32 games after hitting two circuits Zambrano.

Bills trade WR Lee Evans to Ravens
After saying goodbye to the stress at work Derrick Mason, Donte Stallworth and TJ Houshmandzadeh and TE Todd Heap in the offseason, the Ravens have imported more experience in the post on Friday, the acquisition of Lee Evans, Bills.
He offered an overview of their talents in October last year, burning Ravens for 105 yards (on six catches) and three touchdowns in Baltimore.
"He is a veteran of the quality of the receiver, which stretches the field and gives us a strong presence down the field," Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome said in a statement. "It's the kind of person you want on your computer. Provide leadership and maturity to the locker room. "
Evans had his seven-year career in Buffalo after a first-round pick in 2004. He received two 1,000-yard seasons under his belt, but is coming off his least productive season in 2010 (37 rec., 578 yards, 4 TD). He also missed action for the first time in the NFL, according to IR with three games after suffering an ankle injury.
However, Evans was just what the doctor ordered, in Baltimore. It is a deep threat (15.7 yards average career of receipt), a nice addition would be provided to WR Anquan Boldin bruises, RB Ray Rice and a group of young tight ends. QB Joe Flacco did not have anyone to really stretch the field last year to see the action with faster Stallworth very limited.
"It's a proven player in this league and a quality person who fits our team," coach John Harbaugh Baltimore.
"We all look forward to working with him."
Stevie Evans exit leaves Johnson as the No. 1 wide receiver in Buffalo and opens a clear starting point for Marcus Easley, David Nelson, Roscoe Parrish and Brad Smith.
For ESPN, the Ravens have a 2012 in the fourth round of the election Evans.

Zac Brown Band Bring the Hits to the ‘Today’ Show
zac brown band |
Though Buffett didn’t make Brown’s early morning set, the ‘Colder Weather’ hitmaker sang his praises on live television. “I think he’s one of the best American songwriters who ever lived,” Brown told the NBC audience. “I’ve been covering his songs forever, and to actually get to collaborate with some of my heroes has been some of the big milestones in my career.”
With the mention of milestones, it was brought to Brown’s attention that his 2010 album, ‘You Get What You Give,’ just went platinum. Of course, that’s in addition to eight No. 1 singles spanning the band’s relatively short career.
“You know, we travel a lot more comfortably now,” Brown told hosts Al Roker and Natalie Morales, admitting that a lot has changed in a few short years. “There’s a lot of things that have changed, but the core — we love what we do, we love our craft, we love the fans, we love to be doing what we love to do. We count our blessings every day, we get to be here and be able to do it. This is a great thing.”
Brown added, “Every day I pinch myself.”

Weekend To Start With Sun, End With Rain
Fort Greene, Brooklyn by cisc1970 on Flickr |
If you haven't done so already, today would be a really good day to call in sick. High pressure centered over Lake Erie means a warm, dry and sunny summer Friday. Look for a high in the mid 80s and perhaps a smattering of fluffy cumulus clouds late this afternoon. Clear skies tonight will make for perfect viewing of the Perseid Meteor Shower.
That high pressure system is going to move across the region tomorrow. Saturday will start out warm and dry but humidity will return later in the day. The timing of when the humidity will return is uncertain but tomorrow should be mostly sunny and a bit warmer than today. No matter the timing, we are likely to have a stormy, rainy Sunday. A storm will form in the wake of the high pressure system, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms starting as early as late Saturday night.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely to continue through Monday. This storm isn't going to move very fast. In fact, the showers may linger into Tuesday before they give up the ghost. Highs all three days will be in the low 80s. Sunny skies are expected to return by mid-week.

Seahawks vs Chargers Game Time Schedule, Players To Watch
The Seahawks face off against the Chargers tonight in San Diego, and the long-awaited NFL season will officially be underway. The first preseason game is a glorified scrimmage for each team; a chance to evaluate their young players and start breaking in their systems. It gives the players a chance to hit someone not on their team and start getting used to full contact situations.
The starters will probably only play a series or two and the new free agents will see very few snaps. That means the majority of the game will be involving 2nd and 3rd string guys, and the rookies, undrafted free agents, and journeymen veterans will be fighting for a spot on that ever elusive 53-man roster.
Here's a list of players I'm looking forward to watching, per position:
Quarterback:
I'm honestly a lot more interested in watching Charlie Whitehurst get some snaps than Josh Portis. I think Portis may have some potential down the line but I think Whitehurst offers more competition for Tarvaris Jackson this season. If Jackson struggles or gets hurt, it looks like Whitehurst is the guy so I'll be looking for him to look poised and comfortable in the offense. He likely won't look good with the shortened training camp and timeframe to install the offense, but that is something I'm looking forward to.
Running Back:
My guess is that Beastmode won't get a bulk of the carries today. More likely Leon Washington and Justin Forsett will split more of the carries and I'm particularly excited to see Washington in action. From what I've heard, he's got his speed back and has looked good in camp, so it's going to be fun to see how he's used.
Fullback:
I can't wait to see what Michael Robinson 2.0(+20lbs) looks like clearing the hole. I also will be watching closely for Ryan Travis, hoping he gets some looks.
Wide Receiver:
Easy -- Doug Baldwin and Ricardo Lockette. I'm looking forward to seeing these two guys in game action. They're both bubble UDFAs and both have a real shot to make the 53 man roster. Lockette has elite speed and if he can improve his skills as a receiver he could be a dangerous weapon. Baldwin looks to be a slot guy with a lot of potential. He's wowed people in camp and it will be interesting to see if he can carry that into the preseason.
I'm also looking forward to watching Isaiah Stanback. He's big, physical, and hopefully still fast. The achilles injury is a tough one so I'm going to be looking for signs he still has burst and wiggle. He'll probably play some special teams too so look for that.
