| Tom Hanks in “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” |
- The latest in a string of films with strong pre-pubescent leads
(along with “Real Steel” and “Super 8″) “Extremely Loud and Incredibly
Close” features Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock and Thomas Horn as a family
that loses a member in 9/11. The trailer predominately features a song
from U2 and quick cut shots of Central Park and the World Trade Center
towers.
Directed by Stephen Daldry (“Billy Elliot” and “The Hours”), the
movie is an adaptation of a book by Jonathan Safran Foer. Does all this
add up to a good film?
