Danica Meat damages in N'wide opener

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Danica Patrick's full-time project into NASCAR's Across the country Sequence is off to a difficult begin.

Patrick smashed up in Saturday's period operator at Daytona Worldwide Speedway, not the way she desired to begin her first complete period in stock-car rushing.

Patrick started the 300-mile occurrence in advance side after becoming the first lady to win a NASCAR post since Shawna Johnson in 1994.

But on Lap 50, JR Motor rushing team mate Cole Whitt nudged her back fender and sent her rotating into the wall structure. Her aggravation was obvious from her r / c stations talk.

Patrick, a former IndyCar celebrity who created the leap to NASCAR, also gone down on one more lap of a determining competition for the Daytona 500 on Friday. Much like Saturday's incident, that one wasn't her mistake.
