Montrose may tidy up set May 18

MONTROSE – Kohlmorgan Carting will hold a may tidy up Thursday, May 18, for the Town of Montrose.

Acceptable products for hauling involve family and furniture, floor covering (cut to a controllable size), bedding, television, VCRs, garden designs, little plastic regularly, comes, bathrooms, little quantities of perspective material (cut to 5-foot lengths), windows, doors, walls, electrical wiring, little plumbing tube, swing sets (cut down), bikes, lawnmowers and tillers (with gas and oil drained), toys, go-karting paintballs, typewriters, shoes, clothing, etc. No more than four car, light truck or motorbike wheels per family will be recognized. Tires must be demounted from wheels.

Items that will not be recognized involve huge equipment (refrigerators, freezers, machines, hairdryers, ranges, micro waves, dehumidifiers, hot water heating units, dish machines or air conditioners) definite, stones, yard spend (grass extras, simply leaves, or tree/brush trimmings) anti-freeze, liquid paint, motor oil, gas, Freon, weed killers, bug sprays, mesothelioma materials (floor flooring, roofing shingles or insulation), lead acid battery power, (automotive, motorbike, or garden mower), non-car wheels (large pickups, tractor, vehicles or implements), vehicles (cars, pickups, ships, trailers, etc.), road roofing materials, a lot of sheetrock or commercial contractor’s spend from building sites.

Residents must set out products by 7 a.m. where they would normally place trash. It is and Kohlmorgan Carting source the right to reject excessive volumes of tidy up products per family.

“Cleanup is for citizens only, not businesses,” said Town Clerk/Treasurer Celeste Cirinna. “Please do not set out bags of regular family trash during tidy up. This is a great chance to get your products delivered away and clean up your property.”

Nuisance abatement characters will be sent out after May 18.
